Norma R. (Bagnoli) Martello, 92, of Milford
1933 - 2026

Born on September 23, 1933, in Milford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Elizabeth (Carini) Bagnoli. Norma graduated from Milford High School in 1951, where she was honored as “Most Artistic” in her senior class and designed that year’s yearbook cover.

While in college, she met her life partner and future husband, Philip Martello. They were married on September 27, 1952, and built a beautiful life together in Milford, raising their two children, Gail and Philip. Their lovingly renovated home became a gathering place for family and friends, hosting countless celebrations—especially cherished Christmas Eve traditions that remain a beloved memory for her grandchildren.

Norma was a hardworking and independent woman who held several positions in the Milford area before retiring from Avery-Dennison as a Senior Accountant after more than 20 years of dedicated service. She was deeply devoted to her family, spending many years caring for loved ones in times of need.

Her greatest joy was her family. She rarely missed a game, recital, or milestone in her grandchildren’s lives and delighted in spending time with her great-grandchildren. Norma will be remembered for her warmth, strength, resilience, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.

She was predeceased by her husband, Philip Sr.; her son, Philip Jr.; her parents; and her sister, Eleanor Cook.

Norma is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Martin Pope; her daughter-in-law, Karen Martello; her grandchildren and their partners, Melissa Pope and Amber Hafner, Amanda and Ryan Hanofee, and Geoffrey Martello and Jeremy Castillo; her great-grandchildren, Evan, Ronan, and a baby boy Hanofee due in May; as well as many beloved friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 28th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Consigli Ruggiero Funeral Home, 46 Water Street, Milford, MA 01757.
