Nina Louise DeWolf, 81, of Hopedale
1944 - 2025

Nina’s life was defined by kindness, compassion, and a quiet inner strength that guided everything she did. She spent many years working as a nurse, a profession that perfectly reflected her caring nature and lifelong dedication to helping others. Her commitment to service extended beyond her career through her volunteer work at the Foxboro Senior Center, where she gave her time generously and formed meaningful connections within the community.

Music brought Nina great happiness. She proudly sang with the Serenading Seniors, sharing both her voice and her joy with those around her. She was also an enthusiastic sports fan, particularly devoted to New England teams, cheering them on with loyalty and excitement. In her later years, Nina found comfort and enjoyment in quieter pastimes, including puzzles and games shared with fellow residents at Atria Draper Place, where she valued the friendships she built.

Above all else, Nina took immense pride in her grandchildren. She followed their lives closely, celebrating their achievements both big and small, and finding constant joy in their growth and happiness. Throughout her life, Nina demonstrated resilience and grace, meeting each chapter with humility, warmth, and love. She cherished meaningful relationships and found beauty in everyday moments, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Nina is survived by her daughters, Melanie Suk of Atlanta, Georgia, and Lisa Hodgdon of Hopedale, Massachusetts; her beloved grandchildren, Paige Suk, Eric Suk, Madeline Hodgdon, Leah Hodgdon, and Theodore Hodgdon; her brothers, Charles Cutter and Donald Cutter; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore DeWolf; her sister, Alice Cutter; and her brother, Marc Cutter.

Nina Louise DeWolf will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. Her legacy lives on through the love she shared, the care she gave, and the joy she brought to others.

A memorial service will be held in late spring of 2026, when family members traveling from out of town are able to gather to celebrate Nina’s life. Additional details will be shared at a later time.
