June 27, 1943 — October 27, 2025
Born to Kate and Benjamin Fogler, Nancy spent her early years in Lexington, Massachusetts, as well as abroad in Cairo, Egypt, and the Philippines. These experiences instilled in her a lifelong curiosity, appreciation for culture, and love of travel.
Nancy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bruce Steele, with whom she shared many joyful years of marriage filled with laughter, love, and adventure. Together, they enjoyed their homes in Brewster, MA, and Marco Island, Florida, and traveled extensively, dancing through life both literally and figuratively.
She raised her family in Westborough, where she created a warm and loving home. Nancy is survived by her three daughters — Leigh, Sharon, and Jennifer — and her cherished grandchildren: Carleigh (Corey), Zachary, Mallory, Evelyn, Jeremy, and Audrey. She will also be lovingly remembered by her stepsons Michael (Remy) and Scott (Maggie), and their families.
Nancy is also survived by her siblings John Fogler, Robert Fogler, and Ellen Greenberg.
A woman of grace and quiet strength, Nancy found her greatest peace by the ocean, where she delighted in bird watching and the beauty of nature — passions inspired by her father.
In keeping with her wishes, no services are planned.
Nancy will be remembered for her love of family, her adventurous spirit, and the gentle kindness she extended to everyone she met.
