1949 - 2026
Born in Needham, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Barbara (Giles) and Roland Praetsch. She shared 57 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Gerald Mazzenga.
Nancy found joy in life’s simple and beautiful moments. She loved bird watching, visiting the beach, and especially cherished trips to St. John and the Florida Keys. She enjoyed creative hobbies, dining out, participating in her bowling league, and driving her beloved Lexus.
Above all, Nancy was devoted to her family. She took great pride in caring for and supporting those she loved most. She also adored her dogs, Nora and Gracie, who brought her constant companionship and happiness.
In addition to her husband Gerald, Nancy is survived by her children: Barbara Koshivas and her husband Dean of Medway; Ann Mazzenga of Medway; Jeremy Mazzenga and his husband Andrew Kearney of Holliston; and Elizabeth Mazzenga of Holliston.
She also leaves behind her brothers, Roland Praetsch and his wife Jane of Wrentham, and Steven Praetsch and his wife Jeanne of Holliston; her cherished grandchildren, Matthew Koshivas, John Koshivas and his wife Anne, and Victoria Koshivas; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Nancy will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, love for family, and the quiet joy she brought to those around her.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, May 31st at 3:30 PM at First Baptist Church of Holliston located at 40 High Street in Holliston.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
