Mrs. Viola C. (Allegrezza) Barsanti, 106, of Milford
1920 - 2026

Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppi Allegrezza and Vilellma (Baldelli) Allegrezza. Viola was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1938.

She devoted much of her life to her family as a loving wife and mother, and later worked for many years at Telechron Corporation in Ashland. Viola was also a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Milford and a member of its choir.

Viola found joy in the simple pleasures of life—gardening, cooking, and baking. She was especially known for her tripe, fried chicken cutlets, blueberry muffins, and apple pie. Above all, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who lovingly knew her as “Noni Vi.”

She is survived by her daughter, Corrine A. Iacovelli and her husband Anthony of Mendon; her grandchildren Maria Iacovelli of Uxbridge, Anthony Iacovelli Jr. and his wife Deanna of Northbridge, and Paul Iacovelli and his companion Dawn Marshall of Northbridge; and her great-grandchildren Michael, Arianna, Emily, Mark, Joshua, Ciara, and Myah, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son, Arthur C. Barsanti Jr.; her grandson, Mark Iacovelli; and her siblings, Louise Rivernider and Guido Allegrezza.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main Street, Milford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

A visiting hour will be held Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home, prior to the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
