Mrs. Nanella T. (Grassi) DiCamillo, 102, of Milford
1924 - 2026

Nanella was born in Milford, MA, the daughter of the late Dominic Grassi and the late Assunta (Tocci) Grassi, and attended Milford public schools.

She was first employed as a young woman at the former Public Cleaners in Milford, and later at their Franklin location. She went on to work at a company in the Carryville section of Medway, MA, and spent many years at Corning Medical Devices in Medfield, MA, from which she retired.

Nanella was most recently a resident of Milford, but had been a longtime resident of Franklin, MA. She was a longtime communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Franklin.

While in Franklin, she was an active member of the women’s bowling league at the former Ficco’s Bowling Alley. As a young woman, she loved to go dancing with her former husband, siblings, and many friends.

Nanella is survived by her two daughters: Sandra Fitzpatrick and her husband, Alan Green, of Milford, MA, and Kathleen Turieo and her husband, Edward Turieo, of Brewster, MA, and formerly of Franklin, MA; her four grandchildren: Melanie Turieo and her husband, K. C. Marshall, of Franklin, MA; Christopher Turieo of Franklin, MA; Kevin Fitzpatrick and his wife, Anne, of Somerville, MA; and Daniel Fitzpatrick and his wife, Melissa, of Greenbrae, CA; her six great-grandchildren: Wes Fitzpatrick, Hayes Fitzpatrick, Charlotte Fitzpatrick, Leo Fitzpatrick, Calvin Marshall, and Nathaniel Marshall. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Guido “Jack” Grassi, Americo Grassi, Amalia Acquafresca, Concetta Pettinari, and Josephine Rogers.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, February 24th, from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford, MA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Square, Franklin, MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford. A visiting hour will be held Tuesday from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home, prior to her Funeral Mass.
