Born in Cumberland, Rhode Island, MaryJane was the daughter of the late Edmond and Alice Bourque. She was raised in Cumberland and graduated from Cumberland High School.
MaryJane spent many years working in retail, including at the former Lincoln Drug Store and the former Big Lots store in Milford, where she was known for her dedication and friendly personality.
She found great joy in gardening and treasured every opportunity to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her endless happiness.
MaryJane is survived by her children, Craig A. Phaneuf and his fiancée, Petra, of Milford; Tracy Ault and her husband, Paul Ault Jr., of North Oxford; and Allen P. Phaneuf of North Oxford. She also leaves behind her 10 grandchildren—Krysta Pasacane, Jason Phaneuf, Kyle Pasacane, Kevin Pasacane, Sydney Rivera, Jenna Rivera, Brianna Rivera, Gabrielle Phaneuf, Mila Phaneuf, and Zoey Phaneuf—along with several great-grandchildren, her sister, Jeannette Andrews of Attleboro, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Edmond Bourque, Rita Whalen, and Laura Malbeouef.
A private gathering for family members will be held at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow, and a private graveside committal will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery.
There are no public visiting hours.
