Mrs. Kathleen Helen Wright, 84, of Uxbridge
1941 - 2026

Kathy was born at home in Milford, Massachusetts, on November 1, 1941, the daughter of the late Edward C. and Helen J. (Redden) Carroll.

She was the beloved wife of Richard A. Wright of Uxbridge, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage. Kathy is also survived by her cherished daughters: Cheryl (Wright) Eidinger-Taylor and her husband Bruce of Warwick, Rhode Island; Justine “Tina” Wildfeuer and her husband Steven of Northbridge; and Jennifer Wright of Milford.

Her grandchildren always brought a bright smile to her face: Bruce Eidinger and his wife Samantha of Middlefield, Connecticut; Jessica Smith and her husband Thomas Jude of Raynham; Amanda Kidder of Whitinsville; and Sarah and Emily Wildfeuer of Northbridge. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Max and Eloise Eidinger, and Landon, Camden, and Kennedy Smith.

Kathy is survived by her siblings, Dennis Carroll of Mendon and Maureen Benoit of Uxbridge. She was predeceased by her brother, Patrick Carroll of Blackstone.

A graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1959, Kathy soon married and moved to Millbury, where she began raising her family with her former husband, the late Herbert E. Wright Jr. She was a devoted mother to her daughters and later worked as a bookkeeper until she became disabled.

In 1976, Kathy and her daughters returned to Milford. In 1979, she married Richard Wright and warmly welcomed his children into her life and family. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Michelle Wright of Dorchester and Wesley Wright and his wife Tammy of Marcy, New York, along with grandchildren Danielle, Tamara, and Glenroy Wright and their children.

Kathy’s kindness, warmth, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

At Kathy’s request, no public services will be held. Her family will hold a private Celebration of Life in her honor.
