Born in Milford, MA, Bette Ann was the daughter of the late Frederick Besozzi Jr. and Dorothy B. (Bishop) Besozzi of Milford. She attended Milford public schools and graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1966. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Fitchburg State College in 1970 and later attained her Master’s Degree in Education from the University Mississippi.
Bette Ann resided for many years in Las Vegas, NV, where she worked as a school teacher. In recent years, she made her home in Sandwich, MA. She was an avid reader and loved to travel.
Along with her husband of 55 years, she is survived by her mother, Dorothy B. (Bishop) Besozzi of Milford; her daughter, Amy Munroe and her husband Jeff of Boise, Idaho; her son, Gregory Anderson and his wife Rochelle of Dennison, TX; four grandchildren, Alexandra Krueger and her husband Patrick, Victoria Bonar, Ashley Anderson, and Catherine Bonar; three great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Anastasia, and Elizabeth; her siblings, Mary Jane Meagher of Medford, Susan Besozzi of Milford, Brenda Vargas and her husband Peter of Attleboro, and William Besozzi of Milford; and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, November 8, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main Street, Milford. Burial of cremains will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Milford. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford, MA.
