Mr. Frank E. Feccia Jr., 82, of Hopedale
1944 - 2026

Born in Milford, Massachusetts, Frank was the son of the late Frank E. Feccia Sr. and Betty (Laczka) Feccia. He attended the former Sacred Heart Grammar School and graduated from Milford High School as a member of the Class of 1961.

Frank began his working life at Brunelli’s Market and later at Fenwal Inc. In 1962, he joined the Massachusetts Electric Company—now known as National Grid—where he built a long and dedicated career before retiring in 2003. Following retirement, he continued working part-time at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford.

Frank proudly served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard from 1962 to 1966, achieving the rank of Sergeant. He had been a resident of Hopedale since 1970.

He had a deep love for sports and was an avid fly fisherman, crafting all of his own lures. Frank also enjoyed gardening and was known as an excellent cook, especially for his signature zucchini relish, which he prepared each year to share with family and friends.

Frank was a former member of the Nipmuc Rod & Gun Club, a member of the Milford Italian Club (Mangia Mangia Club), and a member of the Dramatic Club.

In addition to his wife, Sharon, he is survived by his three sisters: Jean do Curral and her husband Bento of Milford; Barbara Mitides of Milford; and Carol Bates of Douglas; along with several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place. A private funeral service will be held at Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford, at the convenience of the family. Burial of his cremains will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford. There are no visiting hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The National Kidney Foundation located at 209 West Central Street in Natick.
