1963 - 2025
Born in San Francisco, CA, Eria was the son of the late Joseph and Cora (Fontentte) Morrison. He graduated from high school in Atlanta, GA, and went on to earn his associate’s degree from a junior college in California.
Early in his career, Eria worked in the hospitality industry in hotel management before transitioning to the financial services industry with MetLife. He had been a resident of Rhode Island for the past 22 years, previously living in California.
Eria was a history and architecture enthusiast, but his greatest passion was fishing—something he loved so much he often joked about it as “fishing, fishing, fishing!” He was a proud member of the Rhode Island Fishing Club.
Along with his wife of 13 years, Eria is survived by his sister-in-law, Jennifer Reed and her husband Michael of Mullica Hill, NJ; his brother-in-law, Cullen Boland and his wife Patty of Weymouth, MA; three nephews, Gavin Reed, Keegan Reed, and Michael Capuzzo; and his niece, Ella Boland.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place. A private Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of his family. There are no funeral home services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford, MA.
