
1947 - 2025
Born in Milford, David was the son of the late Biagio Longo and Charlotte E. (Wasner) Longo. He was educated in the Hopedale public schools and was a proud graduate of Hopedale High School, Class of 1966. He later attended Quinsigamond Community College.
After high school, David honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. His professional life was spent in the pest control industry, beginning at Milford Exterminating before going on to own and operate his own company, Bugmaster, in Hopedale.
David was a longtime member of the Nipmuc Rod & Gun Club and was known for his skill in both billiards and chess. He loved fishing and was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots.
In addition to his wife Patti, David is survived by her daughters, Lisa Phillips and Jackie Alger, both of Milford; and by his three daughters from a previous marriage: Amy, Angie, and Amanda. He also leaves behind his brother, John A. Longo, and his wife, Karen, of Sutton, along with his niece, Christina Longo, also of Sutton. David shared a close relationship with the two children of a past companion, Dennis Flanagan and Joseph Flanagan.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life, followed by a prayer service and burial of his cremated remains, will be held at a day and time to be announced. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford, MA.
