1961 - 2025
Born in Natick MA, David was the son of the late Walter E. Whitmarsh and the late Audrey (MacLean) Whitmarsh. He received his education at Madison Park High School in Boston MA.
David spent his entire career working with his hands and his skill, having been employed as a mechanic & a machinist for all of his life. Outside of work, he found joy in the outdoors and simple pleasures — David loved to fish, and loved listening to music. He was also a car enthusiast.
In addition to his wife of 42 years, David is survived by his 2 sons: David Whitmarsh Jr. and Adam Whitmarsh, both of Franklin MA; his sister: Darlene Cerullo and her husband Tony Cerullo of Falmouth MA; also many beloved nieces & nephews.
Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place, and A Celebration of his Life will be held at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA on a DAY & TIME TO BE ANNOUNCED.
To honor his memory, his family highly encourages memorial donations be made in David’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
