Bruce was born in Weymouth, MA, the son of the late Bruce R. Morrison and the late Diane (Williams) Morrison. He attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School, Class of 1993.
Bruce began his career as an installer with Mr. Fence and later worked at Steelco Fence. Most recently, he had been employed at the Consigli Construction Company in Milford MA and was a member of the Laborer's Union Local #609.
He had been a resident of Millville, MA for the past 21 years, previously living in Milford.
Bruce was an avid fan of all the New England sports teams and was also a “monster truck” fan. But his favorite past time was volunteering as a coach for the XPRESS Football League, where he got to coach his son, Aiden.
Along with his beloved wife of 25 years, he is survived by his son, Aiden Morrison of Millville, MA; his five siblings: Mark Morrison and his wife Michelle of Virginia; Dawn Smith and her husband Steven of Massachusetts; Michele Herbel and her husband Terry of California; Alex Morrison and his wife Claire of Massachusetts; and Cori Andersen and her husband Sean of Massachusetts; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Bruce is also survived by his father-in-law, Manuel Machado of Framingham, MA; his brothers-in-law, Edgar Machado and his wife Christine and their children, and David Machado and his children. He was the son-in-law of the late Lucia Machado who died in 1994.
In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA on a DAY & TIME TO BE ANNOUNCED.
In lieu of flowers, the family highly encourages you to make a donation to an Educational Fund that will be set up for the benefit of his son, Aiden Morrison. Specific information in regards to that educational fund will be announced as soon as it is available.
