1940 - 2025
He attended the former Sacred Heart Grammar School and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1958, laying the foundation for a life defined by hard work, service, and family.
Albert proudly served his country as a veteran of the US Navy, having served from 1958 to 1960, serving as a machinist mate. Following his military service, he built a long and dedicated career as a skilled tool maker. He began his working life at the former Draper Corporation in Hopedale, later continuing his trade at the former General Motors Assembly Plant in Framingham, as well as Volpe Tool & Die Company and Normac Corporation. After retiring from manufacturing, Albert remained active in the workforce, spending several years working for the Town of Milford at the Milford Transfer Station.
His commitment to public service extended beyond his professional life. Albert also served the community as a Worcester County Sheriff for many years and as a member of the Milford Citizens Police Patrol, roles he took great pride in.
Albert embraced life outside of work with enthusiasm. He was a longtime member of the Maspenock Rod & Gun Club and enjoyed many social moments—especially going dancing with his longtime companion and their group of friends. He loved trips to the movies, browsing flea markets, attending car shows, and never missed his morning coffee meetings with the gang at the Honey Dew Coffee Shop. Above all, his greatest joy was attending the various sporting events of his grandchildren, where he was a familiar and supportive presence.
Albert is survived by his three children: Anthony A. Recchia and his wife Lisa of Milford MA, Michelle E. Totilo and her husband Peter Totilo of Sterling MA, and David P. Recchia of Whitinsville MA; his grandchildren Derryk Recchia of Northbridge MA, Olivia Recchia of Framingham MA, and Justin Recchia of Milford MA; his sister Joanne Tessier of Grafton MA; several nieces and nephews; and his longtime companion, Marilyn DeLuca of Milford MA.

Burial, with Military Honors, will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA.
