1942 - 2026
Born on May 30, 1942, in Springfield, Massachusetts, Maureen was the beloved daughter of the late Elmore and Thelma Felton. In September 1967, she married the love of her life, Bill Kelley. Together they shared more than 50 years of marriage, building a life centered on love, family, and unwavering devotion until Bill's passing on December 13, 2019.
In 1975, Maureen and her family made Milford their home, where she remained for the rest of her life. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother whose greatest happiness came from spending time with her family and celebrating life's special moments together.
Maureen is survived by her sons, Michael Kelley and Brian Kelley and his wife, Shiloh; her brother, Jack Felton and his wife, Carol; her brother, Arthur "Wally" Felton and his wife, Sharon; her sister, Jan Morin and her husband, Ed; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren, Lance Kelley, Draven Kelley, Daxus McCollom, Alex Carlow, and Mara Carlow, along with her cherished great-grandchildren, Adelina Rose Kelley-Shull and Jude Carlow.
Throughout her life, Maureen was blessed with many enduring friendships. She shared a special bond with the late Kathy and Jim Ellis and treasured the companionship of Joan and Bernie Carty, Jerry and Buddy Ryan, Al and Laurie Bacchiocchi, and Joyce Clapsadle.
Known for her warm heart and wonderful sense of humor, Maureen especially loved "stupid dad jokes" and never missed an opportunity to laugh. She also treasured life's simple pleasures, including seafood dinners at New England Steak & Seafood, where she was treated like family by owner Jimmy and the staff. One of her favorite traditions was celebrating each birthday with her annual Kahlúa Sombrero, a simple ritual that brought her great joy.
Maureen will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, generosity, gentle spirit, and the deep love she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her.
