1961 - 2026
Born on May 15th, 1961, in Milford, MaryEllen was the daughter of the late Donald B. and Elaine B. (Macko) McFetridge. She was raised in Bellingham and Millis and spent most of her life in Bellingham.
MaryEllen worked for many years as a payroll clerk at the Wrentham Developmental Center before retiring because of her health.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting, visiting casinos, driving muscle cars, and attending New England Patriots training camp. Above all, MaryEllen was known for her kind and compassionate heart. She cherished her family and friends and was deeply loved by those whose lives she touched. Her family also expressed heartfelt gratitude to Joy for the exceptional kindness and care she provided throughout MaryEllen's illness.
MaryEllen is survived by her sisters, Evelyn Corbett of Bellingham and her companion, Rick Swinimer of Framingham, and Laurie Leeman and her husband, David, of Douglas. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephew, Michael, Melissa, Erin, and Kathleen, along with many grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Her family extends its sincere appreciation to the staff at AdviniaCare Northbridge and Salmon Hospice for the compassionate care and support they provided to both MaryEllen and her loved ones.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22nd, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Street, Medway.
Her funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bellingham Senior Center, 40 Blackstone Street, Bellingham, MA 02019.
