Mary Donna Ferris, 79, of Medway
1947 - 2026

Born in Dedham, Massachusetts, Donna was the daughter of the late George and Mary Lovely. She shared a devoted marriage with her beloved husband, Ron Ferris, and together they built a beautiful life and raised their family in Medway, Massachusetts, where Donna became a cherished part of the community.

A woman of deep and unwavering faith, Donna lived her life guided by strong values, integrity, and compassion. She believed wholeheartedly that doing the right thing — the right way — was simply how life should be lived. That quiet conviction shaped the example she set for her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Donna created a home filled with love, warmth, and comfort. She was deeply devoted to her husband and children and treasured the close bonds she shared with her siblings and lifelong friends. Her kindness, grace, and welcoming spirit made everyone around her feel at home.

She was actively involved in her church community, prayer group, tennis, and golf. Donna was also known as a wonderful cook and hostess who loved bringing people together. Family gatherings and celebrations around her table became treasured memories for everyone fortunate enough to attend.

Donna is survived by her devoted husband, Ron Ferris; her children, Ron and Jennifer Ferris, and Elizabeth and Craig Gantner; and her six beloved grandchildren, Ronnie, Natalie, Nora, Samantha, Michael, and Eliza, who brought immense joy to her life.

She is also survived by her siblings Kathy, Lois, Kevin, Karen and her husband Vic, and Raymond and his wife Carol, along with many loving nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother Eddie and brother-in-law Eddie.

Donna will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her generous heart, her warmth, and the love she shared so freely with those around her. Her legacy lives on through the family and friendships she cherished so deeply.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 1st, from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, located at 3 Barber Street in Medway.

Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church in Medway.

Burial will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
