Born in Franklin on July 5, 1933, Marjorie was the daughter of the late Severino and Theresa (Campagna) Dangelo. A lifelong Franklin resident, she graduated from Franklin High School.
Marjorie worked for many years as a secretary at Dean College.
She enjoyed reading, cooking, dining out, and, above all, spending time with her beloved grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.
Marjorie is survived by her children, John F. Hanavan of Franklin, Michael W. Hanavan and his wife Elizabeth of Worcester, Terrance J. Hanavan of Webster, Mariateresa Battite of Blackstone, and Tara L. Clifford and her husband Michael of Blackstone.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Norman Dangelo and Donald Dangelo.
She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Justin, Katharine, Riley, Jeremy, Kayla, Jordan, Patrick, Casey, Abigail, and Ellarose, as well as her great-granddaughter, Jeanine.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 15th at 1:00 PM at the Ginley Funeral Home (131 Main Street, Franklin).
Burial will follow at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
