1959 - 2026
Born in Framingham on August 15, 1959, Maria was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anne (King) Kostyshak. She spent her early years growing up in Franklin, where she attended Franklin public schools, before later establishing her life in Worcester.
Most recently, Maria was a resident of Newton for the past six months, having formerly lived in Worcester. Throughout her professional life, she worked as a field service engineer at Digital Corporation for many years, a role that reflected her technical skill and dedication.
In her younger years, Maria found joy in creative and outdoor pursuits. She enjoyed riding horses and studied flower arranging, interests that reflected her appreciation for both nature and artistry.
Maria is survived by her brother, Michael Kostyshak of Millville, along with several cousins who will remember her fondly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday, January 15, at 11 a.m. at the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Street in Medway (ginleyfuneralhomes.com). Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
