1951 - 2025
Born on May 9, 1951, in Milford, Peggy built a life defined by faith, family, and service to others. She was the beloved wife of John L. “Jack” Moran III, with whom she shared 54 years of cherished memories.
A proud graduate of Milford High School in 1969, Peggy was the loving daughter of the late Gerard and Rose Guertin. She dedicated more than 25 years to the Blackstone-Millville Regional School District, serving as a paraprofessional, where her patience and kindness made a lasting impression on the students and colleagues she supported.
Peggy’s heart belonged to her family above all else. She was the devoted mother of Christopher P. Moran and his wife Michelle of Blackstone, Stephen J. Moran of Napa City, California, Mark J. Moran of Seattle, Washington, and Matthew F. Moran of Millville. She also was the grandmother to two grandchildren.
She is survived by her brothers, Donald Guertin and his wife Debra of Bellingham, and Stephen Guertin and his wife Theresa of Douglas, all of whom will forever remember her warmth and strength. She was a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. Peggy was predeceased by her daughter, Melissa Lynn Moran in 2016, as well as her brother Gerard F. Guertin and his late wife Deborah, and her sister Lisa M. Guertin.
Peggy’s deep devotion to her Catholic faith shaped her life and guided her through every joy and hardship. She took great pride in serving as a Lector at the former St. Augustine Church in Millville, and was a member of St. John’s Church in Slatersville, Rhode Island.
Her interests reflected her appreciation for beauty, culture, and simple joy. She was a longtime season ticket holder at the Providence Performing Arts Center, loved traveling to the California wine country, and treasured time spent cooking, listening to music, gathering with friends, or relaxing on the beaches of Maine.
