Marc Paul Fornaciari, 80, of Milford
1945 - 2026

Marc was born and raised in Milford, the son of Gabriele Fornaciari and Elentena (Mainini) Fornaciari, and he grew up as part of a large, tightly knit family that remained central to his life. He was a graduate of Milford High School in 1962, where he met Janice, the woman who would become his lifelong partner.

Marc was the devoted husband of Janice Marie (Imbruno) Fornaciari, and together they shared nearly six decades of love and companionship. Marc and Janice just celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary, continuing their tradition of sharing a bite of their original wedding cake. Their marriage was built on humor, loyalty, and deep affection.

He was a proud and loving father to Danielle Marie Murphy and her husband Patrick, and Anthony Marc Fornaciari and Marc’s daughter-in-law Crystal Silva. Marc’s greatest joy came from being “Papa” to Campbell Murphy, Kennedy Murphy, Nash Fornaciari, Kayleigh Silva, and Natalie Silva, cherishing every moment spent with them.

Marc dedicated nearly four decades of his professional life to Brunellis/Star Market, beginning as a clerk and working his way through roles in seafood, deli management, and eventually store manager. Marc worked for Brunellis/Star Market for almost 40 years, earning recognition for his commitment, leadership, and the relationships he formed with coworkers and customers. He retired at 55, opening the door to new adventures and spontaneous “mystery rides” with his family.

Above all else, Marc loved spending time with those closest to him. Marc most loved spending time “making memories” with his wife, children, and grandchildren, whether through everyday moments, New England day trips, or attending family activities. He also deeply valued the friendships he built over a lifetime and remained a dedicated communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Hopedale.

In his free time, Marc enjoyed many passions. In his remaining spare time Marc was a prolific bowler, movie buff, Patriots fan and avid coin collector. He was often seen around town with a cup of coffee in hand and especially enjoyed trips to Rhode Island, discovering new restaurants, and later in life, bird watching. His happiest moments were always those spent with family.

Marc is survived by his sisters Veronica Glennon and Roberta Simmons, along with many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. He was predeceased by his brothers Robert Fornaciari and Gabriele “Jibber” Fornaciari, and his sisters Bruna Casto and Paula Krill.
