She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Eva Boyd.
Madeline was a deeply loving and devoted mother and grandmother, and her family was truly the center of her world. She was known for her inspiring, supportive, and compassionate nature, always carrying a warm smile and a positive spirit that touched everyone around her.
In her younger years, Madeline lived a vibrant and active life. She worked as a live mannequin at Touraine’s in the Natick Mall, delighting in surprising onlookers as she “came to life” in the store’s showcase window. She was also a talented toe ballerina and an accomplished horseback rider, earning numerous awards and ribbons. Jumping was her favorite discipline, and she performed with a grace that made it appear effortless.
Throughout her life, Madeline found joy in simple pleasures, especially spending time with friends. She cherished her daily coffee gatherings at Danny’s Variety in Mendon. She also worked alongside her mother at Kartiganer Hat Shop and later at the Miscoe Hill Middle School cafeteria.
Madeline loved to travel and, in her younger years, journeyed across the United States and to Europe, where she visited family in Belgium, her mother’s homeland.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Michelle Boyd-Bonati; her granddaughters, Sabrina Ricci and her companion Jarrad Klang, and Alicia Carco and her companion Michael Macumber; and her three great-grandchildren, Madison Rivard, Blake Leonard Rivard, and Jayden Galante. She also leaves behind many cousins and relatives overseas.
