1950 - 2025
She was born in Framingham on June 15, 1950, the daughter of Elena (Guerra) Rocheford and the late Irving Rocheford. Lorrie was raised in Ashland and graduated from Ashland High School in 1968, where she met her high school sweetheart and husband of 54 years, Paul Haven, along with lifelong friends she remained close to throughout her life.
Lorrie and Paul built a beautiful life together in Medway, Massachusetts, raising their two children, Donya and Adam. Summers were spent at Whitehorse Beach in Plymouth, a place that held special meaning for the family and eventually became their home years later. Known affectionately as “amateur moving enthusiasts,” Lorrie and Paul relocated often, but wherever they landed, Lorrie’s decorating talents transformed each house into something truly special. Her style was impeccable, and her wardrobe was admired by all. “Oh, I’ve had this forever,” she would often say with a smile.
When she wasn’t decorating or traveling, Lorrie loved being surrounded by family and friends. She was known for dancing, singing, and laughing wherever she went—whether at holiday gatherings or during her yearly “Big Chill” weekend with lifelong friends. A gifted cook, she was also famously humble about her talents, never quite believing the praise she received. Her smile was infectious, and her laugh could light up any room.
Lorrie devoted her early years to being a stay-at-home mother. Once her children were grown, she worked as a medical technician for an oral surgeon for 20 years before her retirement. In retirement, she embraced her favorite role as the best Nonnie to her grandkids, filling their days with sleepovers, shopping trips, and endless love.
In addition to her husband Paul, she is survived by her daughter Donya Lemieux and her husband Chad of North Attleboro, her son Adam Haven and his wife Kim of Northborough, and five grandchildren Anna, Nathan, Maggie, Ryuu and Kira. She was predeceased by her son, Craig.
Lorrie is also survived by her mother Elena Rocheford of Ashland, her siblings Cheryl Butler of Winthrop, Buddy Rocheford of Ashland, Susan Nugent of Martha’s Vineyard, and Paula Lachman of Upton, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, January 19 from 4 - 7 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Street in Medway (ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
Burial will take place privately at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
