Lois attended Aquinas Junior College in Newton, where she earned an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She began her career teaching in Holliston before later working as a secretary.
She had a lifelong passion for horses and was an accomplished equestrian. Lois also enjoyed ceramics, often spending time creating with her sisters. She loved camping and being outdoors, and found great joy in hosting holidays in her home. Known as a wonderful cook, she frequently prepared meals for others, especially during the holiday season. Above all, Lois was deeply devoted to her family and treasured the time she spent with them.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Amy Garbarino and her husband Charles, and Bob Guyon and his wife Katie, all of Holliston. She also leaves behind her four sisters, Paula Foglietta of Florida, Linda Craft of Ashland, Tina Morini of Milford, and Tara Mooney and her husband Jim of New Hampshire; her three grandchildren, Matthew and Alyssa Garbarino, and Benjamin Guyon; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16th from 9:00 to 11:15 AM at Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington Street. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 PM at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Holliston.
