Lawrence Cedrone, 79, of Newton
1945 - 2026

Lawrence was born in Newton, Massachusetts, to the late Anna (Gentile) and Dominic Cedrone, and later made his home in Hopedale. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family, relaxing on the beaches of Florida, and driving his motorcycles and cars. He also volunteered with Meals on Wheels, giving his time to help others in his community.

In addition to his longtime partner, Mary Ann Cataldo, Lawrence is survived by his children, Cheryl Leider and her husband, Matthew, of Wayland; Mary-Ann Cataldo of Upton; Lawrence Cedrone Jr. and his wife, Pamela, of Hopedale; Lisa Whitley of Dudley; and Erica King and her husband, Brian, of Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by his siblings, Domenic Cedrone and his wife, Diane, of Waltham; Florence Jones and her husband, Larry, of Natick; Carol Pina and her husband, Vincent, of Auburndale; Gerard Cedrone of Waltham; Stephen Cedrone and his partner, Kirk Wilstermann, of Palm City, Florida; Vincent Cedrone of Waltham; and Christine Cedrone and her wife, Teresa, of Ossipee, New Hampshire.

Lawrence was predeceased by his brothers, Peter Cedrone and John Cedrone, both of Newton, and his son, Anthony Cataldo, of Sutton. He also leaves behind many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Lawrence will be remembered for his love of family, his generosity, and the many lives he touched throughout his years.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, located at 46 Water Street in Milford. A funeral home service will be held at 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Lawrence’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or that a tree be planted in his memory as a lasting tribute to his life.
