1967 - 2026
Born in Worcester on November 23, 1967, Ken was the son of Dorothy (Berndt) Pike and the late Roger Gay. He was raised in Franklin and spent the past ten years living in Uxbridge.
Ken was the beloved husband of Jennifer M. Gay, with whom he shared 30 years of marriage. Together they built a loving family and raised three daughters who were the pride and joy of his life: Emily Gay of Grafton, Audrey Gay of Southborough, and Lindsey Gay of Northbridge.
He is also survived by his siblings, Mary Sutherland of New Bedford, Barbara Menard of Laconia, New Hampshire, Linda Schibles of Belmont, New Hampshire, and Steven Gay of Blackstone. He was predeceased by his sister, Laura Souza. Ken also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews whom he loved dearly.
Ken worked as a heavy equipment operator for Sam White & Sons in Middleboro and had previously built a career as a carpenter. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to lend a hand whenever it was needed.
Outside of work, Ken enjoyed snowboarding, fishing, traveling to Cape Cod, driving his truck, listening to music, and attending New England Patriots games. He loved trying new recipes, dining at his favorite restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. Years ago, many knew him as a dedicated softball coach, proudly supporting and encouraging his daughters from the sidelines.
Those who knew Ken will remember his ever-present smile, easygoing nature, and selfless spirit. He consistently put the needs of others ahead of his own and was admired for his kindness, compassion, thoughtfulness, and generosity. His positive outlook and caring heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
