Kathleen M. Kelley, 70, of Northbridge
January 29, 1955 - November 1, 2025

She was the devoted longtime companion of the late Wilbur Woodman, with whom she shared forty-nine wonderful years.

Born on January 29, 1955, in Brighton, Massachusetts, Kathy was the daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline (Goodwin) Pakenham.

Kathy was known for her huge heart and her constant desire to help others. She found joy in crocheting outfits for new babies, and she loved baking—often sharing her delicious treats with family, friends, doctors, and anyone who did something kind for her. Her generosity and warmth touched everyone she met. A lifelong animal lover, Kathy shared her home with many cats and dogs over the years, each one bringing her great happiness.

She is survived by her stepdaughter, Lisa Lanagan and her husband Joseph O’Brien of Beverly, MA; her brothers, William Pakenham (Roseann) of Bradford, MA, Paul Pakenham (Heather) of Belmont, NH, and John Pakenham (Debra) of Mansfield, MA; her sisters, Cheryl Farmer (William) of Plymouth, MA, and Paula Pakenham of Brattleboro, VT; and her sister-in-law, Shirley Phipps of Mendon, MA.

Kathy also leaves behind two stepsons, Steven Woodman Sr. (Diane) of Leicester, MA, and Michael McDermott of Norton, MA; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren who lovingly called her “Gigi”; and many nieces and nephews who adored her.

Kathy will be remembered for her kindness, her love of family, and her generous spirit that brightened so many lives.
