1942 - 2026
He was the beloved husband of Sandra M. (Saster) Perez, with whom he shared 47 years of marriage.
Born on February 12, 1942, in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Juan and Josefina (Burgos) Perez. Jose had lived in Franklin for many years.
Jose worked as a caretaker at the Wrentham Developmental Center for more than 50 years. He deeply loved his work and formed meaningful connections with both the residents and staff.
Cooking was one of Jose’s greatest passions. A tireless worker, he also enjoyed spending time outdoors tending to his yard, caring for his flowers and garden, working around the pool, and building projects in his workshop, where he happily spent many hours.
He will be remembered for his dedication to his work, his love for his family, and the pride he took in everything he did.
