John William Duncan, 92, of Sherborn
1933 - 2026

John proudly served his country in the United States Navy. During his military service, he became a single-engine pilot and flew Navy jets, combining his dedication to service with his passion for aviation.

A lifelong learner, John earned his Bachelor of Arts, Master of Business Administration, and Doctor of Business Administration degrees from Harvard University. His commitment to education and personal achievement reflected the discipline and determination that characterized his life.

In addition to his wife, Judy, John is survived by his daughters, Heather Folkers and her husband Michael of Fairfax, California, and Holly Craig and her husband Steven of Higganum, Connecticut. He also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: Sebastian Piombo, Isabel Folkers, Madeline Folkers, Dylan Craig, and Meghan Craig.

He was predeceased by his brothers, James Duncan and Jay Duncan.

John will be remembered for his service to his country, his accomplishments in education, and his devotion to his family. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the family he loved so dearly.

Funeral services are being held privately under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to St. John’s School, San Juan, Puerto Rico.
