John R. Roach, 76, of Northbridge
February 24, 1949 — October 28, 2025

Born in Pendleton, Oregon, John was the son of the late William and Theresa (Connolly) Roach and was raised and educated in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

After graduating high school, John proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1967, serving two tours in Vietnam. He was assigned to the 5th Communications Battalion of the 3rd Marine Division, attaining the rank of Sergeant (E-5). His service reflected his lifelong integrity, strength, and dedication to his country.

Upon returning home, John earned his degree in Accounting before realizing his passion lay elsewhere. He later began a new chapter working for Avis Car Rental at JFK International Airport before transferring to Boston Logan Airport, where he quickly advanced to manager. It was there, in 1976, that fate intervened — he met Josephine, the love of his life. The two were married in April 1977 and shared nearly five decades of love, laughter, and adventure together.

A born entrepreneur, John later opened Kwik Kopy, a printing business in Boston, which he successfully operated for many years. His dedication and hard work made him a respected figure among clients and colleagues alike.

John was an avid outdoorsman who found peace in hunting, fishing, and fly-fishing. He loved traveling back to Oregon and through Canada, reconnecting with nature and the landscapes he cherished. A proud member of the Hopkinton Sportsmen’s Association (HSA), John generously supported the organization by providing printing services for many years.

Above all, John was a devoted husband, brother, and friend who valued family and faith. He will be remembered for his humor, integrity, and deep kindness — the qualities that endeared him to all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, Josephine, he is survived by his five brothers, Ron, Dan, Steve, Kevin, and Brian Roach, all of the Pacific Northwest, as well as Josephine’s siblings, many nieces and nephews, and numerous dear friends who became extended family.
