Jeffrey Burgess, Sr, 64, of Northbridge
1962 - 2026

Born on April 6, 1962, in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, Jeff was the son of Beatrice (Palmer) Burgess and the late Ellis Malcolm Burgess Sr.

In addition to his wife, Karen, he is survived by his children, Holly Noyola and her husband Gerardo of Northbridge, Christopher Burgess and his wife Aarikka of North Oxford, Ashlee Burgess of Worcester, Jeffrey Burgess Jr. and his wife Joslyn of Douglas, and Alex Burgess and his wife Emily of Douglas.

He also leaves behind his brothers, Ellis “Pete” Burgess Jr. and his wife Laura of Douglas, Scott Burgess of Douglas, Brian Burgess of Uxbridge, and Nick Burgess of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; his sisters, Debra Grazulis and her husband Robert of Whitinsville, Darlene Dillon and her husband John of Cumberland, Rhode Island, Donna Narey and her husband Steve of Williamstown, Doreen Dow and her husband John of Bedford, New Hampshire, and Crystal Carvalho and her husband Manuel of Bedford, New Hampshire.

Jeff was a proud and loving grandfather to Noah Mansfield, Kaleb Brien, Jacob Noyola, Jeffrey Noyola, Lorelei Brien, Julianna Noyola, Nathan Pixley-Burgess, Theodore Burgess, Henry Burgess, and Charlie Burgess. He was predeceased by his brothers, Michael Burgess and Timothy Burgess.

Jeff dedicated more than 40 years to a career in the automotive industry as a Senior Master Technician with Ford Motor Company. Most recently employed at Place Motor in Webster, he also spent many years at Imperial Ford in Mendon. He was respected throughout his profession for his expertise, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others.

While he enjoyed his work, Jeff’s greatest joy came from his family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a grandfather who treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren. Family gatherings and time with loved ones were the moments he cherished most.

An avid outdoorsman, Jeff enjoyed fishing and hunting, but his true passion was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Whether on the open road or casting a line into the water, he found peace and happiness in life’s simple pleasures.

A man of strong faith, Jeff was a member of River Community Church and a dedicated supporter of Children's Haven. Known for his humility, kindness, and generosity, he quietly helped countless people without seeking recognition, simply because he cared.

Jeff will be remembered for his quiet strength, his generous heart, his unwavering love for his family, and the many lives he touched through simple acts of kindness. His legacy of love, loyalty, faith, and selflessness will continue to live on through all who knew him.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Buma Funeral Home, located at 101 North Main Street (Route 122) in Uxbridge.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, June 24th at 10:00 A.M. at the Cornerstone Church, located at 6 Hartford Avenue East in North Uxbridge.

Burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery on Mendon Street in Uxbridge.
