Born on October 12th, 1948, in Framingham, Ian was the son of the late John and Irma (Tucker) MacLeod.
Ian dedicated 49 years of his career to Republic Services before retiring in 2015. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment throughout his many years with the company.
Outside of work, Ian enjoyed spending time outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, and riding his Harley, hobbies that brought him both adventure and relaxation over the years.
Ian is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Deborah MacLeod of Douglas; his daughters, Kristi Fortier and her husband, Joe, and Alison MacLeod; his son, Ian MacLeod and his wife, Alicia; his eight cherished grandchildren, Michaela, Keira, Savanna, Harper, Elise, Colton, Callen, and Kyren; and his sister, Margaret Hoyt.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
