Gerald A. Sheehan, 79, of Whitinsville
1946 - 2026

Gerald is survived by his siblings, Cynthia A. Nichols of North Smithfield, Rhode Island; Chester D. Sheehan and his wife Donna Scungio of Millville; and David F. Sheehan and his partner Jeanette Lebel of Millville. He also leaves behind his two sons, John Sheehan and Robert Sheehan, both of Massachusetts, along with many loving nieces and nephews.

Gerald built a strong work ethic early in life. His career began at Bernat’s Mill, where he developed skills that would carry him throughout his professional life. He later worked at New England Instrument and Honeywell Corporation, earning the respect of coworkers for his dedication and expertise. The relationships he built through his work endured well beyond his working years.

Outside of work, Gerry was a man of many interests. He had a deep love for photography, capturing meaningful moments and the natural world with care and creativity. An avid fisherman, he found peace in time spent outdoors. Music also played an important role in his life—whether playing a little golf, singing karaoke, or playing the harmonica, he enjoyed sharing laughter and music with others.

Gerry also embraced quieter hobbies. He enjoyed gaming systems, immersing himself in virtual adventures, and took pride in growing tomato plants, a pastime that reflected his patient and nurturing nature.
