Gena (Merow) Rider, 60, of Milford
1966 - 2026

Born in Killingly, Connecticut, Gena was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She shared her passions and talents generously, promoting health and wellness through communities such as Jazzercise and Livestrong, and supporting others through her private practice. Her education and dedication to personal growth allowed her to positively impact countless lives.

Gena inspired others to dance, live freely, and embrace happiness. She sang in her band, taught fitness classes, and encouraged people to find joy in movement and music. As a former board member of the Holliston Food Pantry, her compassion extended well beyond her immediate circle. She consistently went out of her way to care for those in need, loving people and animals alike. Her infectious energy drew others in, filling rooms with laughter, smiles, and warmth.

She will forever be remembered as a devoted mother, loving daughter and sister, and loyal friend.

Gena is survived by her mother, Betty Merow; her brothers, Todd and Cory Merow; her children, Jack and Nick Rider; and her fiancée, Bob Marcolini. She was predeceased by her father, Gene Merow.
