1943 - 2026
Faith worked for many years as an Executive Secretary, a role she carried out with dedication and professionalism. She enjoyed traveling, with favorite destinations including Florida, Alaska, and Europe. In her leisure time, she found joy in knitting, cross-stitch, reading, and watching Jeopardy. A lifelong animal lover, Faith always had a special place in her heart for pets—whether a cat, dog, or bird, there was always a beloved companion by her side.
Faith is survived by her children: Teresa (Hurd) Sommers and her husband Mark; Colleen (Hurd) Ryfa; and P. Michael Hurd. She was predeceased by her daughter Jennifer (Hurd) Davila and her grandson Nicholas Rossini. She leaves behind many cherished grandchildren—Holly, Eric, Ashley, Heather, Anthony, Katherine, Jessica, and Alexandra—as well as great-grandchildren Alayna, Colby, and Eli.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church in Holliston. Interment will take place at a later date at Lake Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Faith’s memory to the MSPCA.
Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston.
