1939 - 2026
Born in Somerville, Terry was the daughter of the late Mary Frances (McCarthy) and Alexander M. Sullivan. Known as "Ele" throughout her youth, she met her future husband, William R. Moser, while attending Brandeis University. Upon meeting Bill, she famously introduced herself by saying, "My name is Eleanor Theresa Rose Marie Sullivan; take your pick." From that day forward, she was affectionately known as Terry.
Terry and Bill shared more than 66 years of marriage, building a life filled with love, adventure, and partnership. Together they traveled the world, embracing new cultures, languages, and experiences. She possessed a lifelong passion for reading and learning, instilling that same curiosity and appreciation for knowledge in her children and grandchildren.
Above all, Terry was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose warmth and gentle spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
In addition to her husband, William, Terry is survived by her daughter, Britt Moore and her husband Michael; her sons, Alex Moser and Bill Moser; her grandchildren, Alexis Moser, Michael Moser and his wife Anett, Jackson Moore, Riley Moore, and Eleanor "Ella" Moore; and her treasured great-granddaughter, Vivian Eleanor Moser.
A casual celebration of Terry's life will be held on Saturday, July 18th, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at her home in 4 Wescott Drive in Hopkinton. Family and friends are invited to attend and share their favorite memories.
