Edith L. (Jennings) Doyle, 89, of Mendon died on December 5 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Joseph L. "Larry" Doyle who died in 2016. Edith was born in Norton, MA; daughter of the late Hollis and Lillian (Winter) Jennings. She was raised and educated in North Falmouth, MA.
Following her graduation from high school she was employed as a bank teller. Following her marriage; she and her husband became owners and operators of the former H.A. Daniels Insurance Agency in Milford. She retired in 2001.
Edith is survived by a son, Steven Doyle of Hopedale and two daughters, Lori Aviles and Debra Palmer, both of Northbridge, six grandchildren, Melissa, Beckey, Catherine, J.P. Tyler and Cassi, four great grandchildren and a beloved dog, "Magoo" who was like another grandchild to her. Edith is also survived by a sister Gladys Allen of North Falmouth, MA.
Funeral services are private. Her burial will be in Hopedale Village Cemetery.
