1933 - 2025
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Dolores was the daughter of Charles and Ida (Autote) Perrier and grew up in the Greater Boston area. The eldest of eight children, she graduated from Girls High School in Boston before beginning a life defined by hard work, love, and devotion to family.
In 1964, Dolores and her family moved from East Boston to Milford, where she would make her home for nearly 60 years. Known for her warm heart and kind spirit, she enjoyed traveling, bowling, homemaking, knitting, crafting, and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. A wonderful cook and gracious hostess, Dolores took great pride in preparing family meals and hosting holiday gatherings that created lasting memories for generations.
Dolores worked for many years as a service representative for Verizon and as a switchboard operator at Milford Hospital. She also generously volunteered at Milford Hospital for more than 35 years, always finding fulfillment in helping others.
She is survived by her four daughters: Carol (Anthony) Folino of Hyannis; Christine (Thomas) Bonci of Clinton; Cathy (Jeff) Hall of North Carolina; and Cynthia (Thomas) Slayton of Medway. She also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren — Christopher and Mark Folino (Kelley Mann); Jeffrey (Holly) Bonci; Cara (Patrick) Gilroy; Michael and Lindsey Slayton — and five great-grandchildren: Emma Folino, Cayleigh Gilroy, Connor, Logan, and Keegan Bonci.
Dolores is also survived by her loving siblings Jeanne Rivamonte, Barbara Lynch, Marcia Tibbetts, Eileen Hopkins, Charles Perrier, Richard Perrier, and Robert Perrier; her two stepchildren Timothy (Patricia) McDonough and Laurie (Mike) Cahill; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
