Dennis Gorman, 73, of Upton
1952 - 2026

Dennis shared 53 devoted years of marriage with his beloved wife, Paula Gorman. In addition to Paula, he leaves behind his son Gregory Gorman and wife Carla; his daughter Ali Knight and husband Ryan; and his treasured grandchildren, Chris, Rowan, Aurelia, Greg, Ben, and Lilli.

He is also survived by his siblings: Ted Gorman and wife Betsy; Kathleen Usher-DeMita and husband Jim; Mal Mooradian; Bill Gorman and partner Kevin; Jane Brochu and husband Dennis; brother-in-law Tom Grant; and sister-in-law Leslie Wright, along with 14 nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dennis devoted 41 years to the same company, a testament to his loyalty and unwavering work ethic. Beginning his career at just 18 years old, he built a life defined by perseverance, integrity, and commitment. He was the definition of a hardworking man and a true foundation of what it means to show up and provide.

A proud New England sports fan at heart, Dennis never lost his loyalty to Boston teams. And if holding a lifelong grudge against the New York Yankees counted as a pastime, he would have excelled at that too. He enjoyed keeping up with the news, spending time on the golf course, and — most importantly — cheering from the sidelines at his grandchildren’s games and activities. Above all, he took pride in caring for Paula and ensuring his family was always supported.

Dennis was a devoted father and an especially proud “Frumpa,” the affectionate nickname given to him by his grandchildren. He was adaptable, easygoing, and uncomplicated-a simple man with a sharp wit and a warm sense of humor. He had a natural gift for sarcasm delivered with love and could always find a way to make others laugh. Never one to seek attention, he preferred listening, offering quiet support, and celebrating the accomplishments of those he loved.

He also took great pride in coaching both Ali and Greg in sports, creating memories that will last a lifetime. His family will remember him as someone who was always present.

A Celebration of Life will be announced and held at a later date.
