1964 - 2026
Born on July 6th, 1964, in Viveiro, Boticas, Portugal, Davide was the son of the late Elias Goncalves and Maria Dias (Do Canto) Morais. He immigrated to Milford with his parents and siblings in 1967, beginning a life in Massachusetts that would be filled with family, friendship, hard work, and countless memories.
Davide enjoyed a long career as an Executive Salesman with FedEx, where his natural communication skills and charismatic personality served him well. He was lively, passionate about his beliefs, and loved bringing people together. Family gatherings were especially important to him, often centered around great food and conversation.
Outside of work, Davide loved coaching his children's sports teams, following the New England sports teams, playing cards, cooking, and traveling. He especially enjoyed trips to Cape Cod, Aruba, and Portugal. He cherished a recent trip to Portugal with his brothers and often reminisced about the experience and the food they enjoyed together.
Davide met Pamela, the love of his life, in 1991, and they married in 1994. Together they built a life filled with family trips, holidays, celebrations, beach-town day trips, long walks, new foods, and evenings watching their favorite shows. Their love and support for one another was an example to everyone around them.
In addition to his wife, Davide is survived by his children, Brianna Ramos and her husband, Jacob, of Oxford; Ryan Morais and his partner, Lydia Kinsman, of Providence; and Antonio Morais of Boston. He also leaves his brothers, Manuel Morais and his wife, Veronica, of Northbridge; John Morais and his wife, Anna, of Northbridge; and Jose Morais and his wife, Karen, of Portugal; his sisters, Maria Pinto and her husband, Robert, of Medway; Elisa Pereira and her husband, Victor, of Milford; and Isabel Coletti and her husband, Michael, of Medway; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Davide was the brother of the late Antonio Morais, Domingos Morais, and Inocencia “Cindy” Cerqueira.
