1963 - 2026
Danny was born in Lake Village, Arkansas, the beloved son of the late Mary (Daley) Kelley and the stepson of the late Joseph Kelley. He was raised in Walpole and later made his home on Cape Cod, where he found comfort in its slower pace and coastal beauty.
A dedicated and hardworking man, Danny spent many years employed as a truck driver for Bella Construction Company, the Lorusso Company, and the Bruce Scott Company. A hard worker by nature, he took pride in his work, and was happiest when he was fixing, building, or working on machinery. His mechanical skills came naturally to him, and he was always willing to lend a hand or share his knowledge with others.
Outside of work, Danny felt most at ease outdoors. He especially loved spending time on Pete’s farm, where he could often be found bailing hay, working alongside horses, and being outdoors. He also found great satisfaction in landscaping and hands-on projects. When life slowed down, Danny enjoyed the simple pleasure of being near the ocean on Cape Cod, where he found comfort and calm in the coastal air and sunshine.
Danny is survived by his children, Daniel Tullos of Massachusetts and Heather Ferreira and her husband Ryan of Rhode Island. He is also survived by his sibling, Robin Kantor of Massachusetts, along with extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply.
He was predeceased by his sisters Diane Guthrie and Erin Tullos.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main Street, Franklin, on Monday, January 19th, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. (ginleyfuneralhomes.com)
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Danny’s memory to the Mass Audubon Society.
Danny will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his mechanical mind, and the quiet love he held for his family. His memory will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
