Dan was born February 15, 1978, to the late Charles and Carol Anne (LaBonte) Sweet.
He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Bridgewater State University, then worked as a Compliance Manager for BNY Mellon Company for sixteen years. Dan enjoyed his job as a Domino’s Delivery driver, and found joy in fishing with his boys and golfing with his buddies. He loved hiking and kayaking with his fiancée and their golden doodle, Benji. If not on an adventure with his fiancée or sons, he liked to visit the horse races and nearby casinos with friends.
He leaves his fiancée, Lisa Lee, and her son, Louden, of Uxbridge; three sons, Andrew Sweet, Brayden Sweet, and Benjamin Sweet, all of Bellingham, Mass., and their mother, Stephanie (Parrotta) Sweet. Dan was the brother of the late Shawn Sweet.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, February 27, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the BUMA Funeral Home, 101 N. Main Street, Uxbridge, to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church, 77 Mendon Street, Uxbridge.
Burial will follow at Center Cemetery, Curve Ave., Pembroke, Mass.
