Raised in West Roxbury, Danny learned the value of hard work from an early age. As a young boy, he worked alongside his father and twin brother in the family’s coal and ice business, helping support the family while developing the work ethic that would guide him throughout his life.

After attending Boston Trade School, Danny became a highly skilled cabinet maker and craftsman. For more than 60 years, he pursued his passion for woodworking, eventually founding and operating his own custom cabinet business, The Wood Shop. His work earned a reputation for excellence, precision, and artistry. Beyond cabinetry, Danny was a gifted artist whose creativity and craftsmanship were reflected in everything he created, leaving behind a lasting legacy through the furniture and works of art he lovingly crafted.

A hardworking and dedicated professional, Danny continued doing the work he loved until retiring at the age of 80. Yet despite his many accomplishments, his greatest joy was always his family. He treasured spending time with loved ones, especially at his home on Cape Cod, where countless memories were made.

Danny was known for his kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome and cared for. A wonderful dancer with a joyful personality, he brought warmth, laughter, and light wherever he went.
