1999 - 2025
Born in Warminster, Pennsylvania, on October 13, 1999, Connor was the beloved son of Zane R. and Elizabeth A. (Haines) Peterson. His early years took him across the country — from Carol Stream, Illinois, to Holly Springs and Burlington, North Carolina, then to Evergreen, Colorado, and finally to Franklin, Massachusetts, before settling in Blackstone six years ago.
A 2019 graduate of Tabor Academy, Connor previously attended Franklin High School, where he was a standout athlete in both basketball and football. His athletic talent and determination earned him a football scholarship to Central Connecticut State University, where he continued to pursue his passion for the game.
Connor was an adventurer and outdoorsman at heart. He found peace and joy in nature—whether fishing, hiking, swimming, or sitting by a bonfire under the stars. He loved the thrill and freedom of the open road on his motorcycle and the quiet reflection that came with time spent outdoors.
Creative and expressive, Connor poured his heart into music composition, pottery, painting, and collage. His artistic spirit was matched by his kindness, humor, and deep compassion for others. To his friends and family, he was a loyal companion, an old soul, and a source of light and love.
In addition to his parents, Connor is survived by his siblings Morgan Peterson of Brooklyn, NY; Jakob Peterson of Asheville, NC; and Juliet, Micah, and Tyler Peterson, all of Blackstone. He is also survived by his grandparents John and Wilma Peterson of Summerville, SC, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
A celebration of Connor’s life will be held on Saturday, November 1, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main Street, Franklin (ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Connor’s memory to support his younger siblings’ education funds at https://www.freefunder.com/campaign/connor-peterson.
