He was the beloved husband of Telma Suely Spinelli de Oliveira Vieira.
Born in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, Claudio was the son of the late Jose Vieira and De Olinda Guedes. He moved to Bellingham in 2005 and became a valued member of the local community.
Claudio worked as a maintenance technician at the New England Sports Center, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. He was also a faithful member of Christian Church AD EFATA.
In addition to his wife, Claudio is survived by his children, Luiz Vieira of Brazil, Luciana Santos of Millville, and Luciene Vieira of Bellingham. He also leaves behind six brothers and three sisters in Brazil, along with five cherished grandchildren: Isabella, Mathias, Samuel, Gabriel, and Matheus.
Claudio will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his faith, and the many friendships he formed throughout his life.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 19th from 9:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M., followed by a funeral home service.
Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
