1943 - 2026
Claire was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In her younger years, she taught middle school in Boston and volunteered at the YWCA. She later worked at Donahue Financial in Holliston. Claire loved traveling, especially visiting national parks across the country, watching British mystery shows on PBS, and preparing delicious meals for family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Claire is survived by her children, Daniel Brady of Holliston and Shana Brady of New York City; her granddaughter, Christina Brady of Milford; her niece, Laura Fitzgerald; and a large extended family of brothers- and sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by her brothers, Daniel, John, and James Hagerty, and her nephew, Robert Hagerty.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 9th, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, located at 854 Washington St. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 10th at 9:00 AM at the Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston. Interment will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
