Cathy was a proud and adoring grandmother to Cameron Dailey, Connor Dailey and his wife Morgan, Jack Schold and his wife Maggie, Benjamin Schold, and William Schold, each of whom will carry forward her legacy of warmth, generosity, and unconditional love.
She is further survived by her siblings: Richard Rush and his wife Kathy of California; Kelley Kries and her husband Randy of New Jersey; and Karyn Happel and her husband Kevin of Pennsylvania; as well as many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends who cherished her deeply.
For many years, Cathy worked at Star Market in Franklin, where she was a dedicated and talented baker. After moving to Uxbridge, she continued her passion for caring for others as a home companion and as a Meals on Wheels driver. She also found great joy in volunteering to transport rescued dogs on their way to their forever homes.
Cathy was an active member of the Methodist Church in Franklin, where she served on various committees and lived her faith through service, fellowship, and kindness. Her compassion, generosity, and steady willingness to help others defined her life and touched countless people.
She enjoyed many hobbies that reflected her joyful and nurturing spirit. Cathy was an enthusiastic bowler, loved water aerobics, cooking classes, and camping, and was known for her extraordinary talents as a cook, baker, and cake decorator. Her creations and meals brought happiness to family and friends alike.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10–11 AM at the Buma Funeral Home, 101 N. Main St., Uxbridge, followed by a funeral service at 11 AM in the funeral home.
