Born in Whitinsville, Carol was the daughter of the late Charles and Theresa (Dufries) Willard. She worked as a sales clerk at Louis Fashion Shop and Bakers Department Store, where she formed many friendships that endured through the years. Carol took great pride in her home and found joy in the simple pleasures of life—reading, cooking, knitting, crocheting, and caring for her family. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her kindness, her warm smile, and her sparkling blue eyes.
Carol leaves behind her daughter, Lynn Paresky, and son-in-law, Lee Paresky, of Douglas. Carol and Ken were happiest when spending time with family, whether at Lynn and Lee’s home in Douglas, on short trips together, or with the family dogs, whom she lovingly called her “granddogs.”
Those who knew Carol were often surprised to learn that she loved riding on the back of Ken’s motorcycle, joining him on rides around the local area, out to dinner, and on scenic trips to the Cape, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Charles Willard Jr. and Vernon Willard.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery, Linwood Avenue, Whitinsville.
