Bonnie J. Grimala, 75, of Uxbridge
1950 - 2026

Born on September 19, 1950, in Vinalhaven, Maine, Bonnie was the daughter of the late Parker family, who helped shape the loving and spirited woman she became. She attended Northbridge schools and carried the values of hard work, loyalty, and kindness throughout her life. Those who knew her will remember her warm smile, generous heart, and the steady presence she brought to the lives of others.

Bonnie shared a devoted 56-year marriage with her husband, Paul L. Grimala Jr. Together, they built a life centered around family, love, and lasting memories. She was a proud and loving mother to Kelli J. Derosiers and her husband Jeff of Harrisville, Rhode Island; Paul E. Grimala and his longtime companion Nicole Beaudette of Uxbridge; and Penny L. Ferraro and her husband Robert of Uxbridge.

She was also a cherished sister to Terry Parker of Florida, Judy Flynn of Westborough, and Edward Parker of Monson. Bonnie was predeceased by her sisters Jill Welch, Linda Parker, and Penny Parker.

Bonnie was a beloved grandmother to Brooke, Autumn, Zachary, Shelby, and Zoe, and a treasured great-grandmother to Jaylin, Nick, and Dallas. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Her family was the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her home was always a place of comfort, laughter, and care.

Bonnie was a member of the VFW Uxbridge Woman’s Auxiliary and a longtime member of the Uxbridge Progressive Club. Through her years of involvement, she formed lasting friendships and remained deeply committed to the organizations and people she cared about. Her loyalty, generosity, and community spirit were admired by all who knew her.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, June 15th, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. at the Buma Funeral Home, located at 101 North Main Street, Route 122 in Uxbridge.

A funeral service will follow at 11:30 A.M. at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery.

A celebration of Bonnie’s life will immediately follow at the Uxbridge Progressive Club.

Memorial donations may be made to Peace of Bread Community Kitchen, located at 51 Cottage Street in Whitinsville.

Bonnie will be remembered for her kindness, loyalty, devotion to family, and the love she freely shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her.
